there are better, i know. but this is the best i can see for the time being anyways. and besides, when i saw it, i stopped everything i was doing. it just took my breath away. and i just sat and watched till the spectacular show ended...

have u ever laid awake in bed at night thinking about the past? bringing up bittersweet memories, some of which u sometimes wish either never happened or u never remembered? memories that make u sad and cry... even though, if u looked at it on another point of view, u would have laughed and smiled?

have u ever laid in bed in ur darkened room and wondered what life would have been like if ... ? and what life would be like in the future? regretting the things u have done or have said? wondering "what if i had done this" or "what if i said that"?

a fren told me to do things and live life with "no regrets". we should look at all the things that have happened as lessons of life and smile, not cry and regret. i mean, shouldn't we be happy with the way we have lived our life and not regretting it? why do we always seem to think that the grass is greener on the other side even though we have been to the other side and we discover that it is no greener than the side we were originally on? why is it that when we know that we should not be regretting, we still do it?

sure, it is easy to say "no regrets"... but how many people seriously lived their lives without any regrets??? who can dare say that they never, in any point of their lives, regretted anything? if there seriously is such a person, i would like to meet u. i want to know and learn how u not regret A SINGLE MOMENT of ur life.

scene 1 : ~ 11am @ gateshead stadium
omi arrives only to find that winter, azzy, jen, jian and lena have yet to show. takes out hp to call winter who lives nearby, turns around and ta-da! winter arrives! :)
omi is informed that lena wouldn't be joining as she is down with fever and flu.

[hope u're feeling better edii dear lena!!!]

winter calls jian and finds out that they are arriving soon at gateshead stadium. rushes down to the side of the tracks with omi and gets onto the last carriage of the metro, just in time... meeting jian, jen and azzy.

scene 2 : ~ 12noon @ sunderland
after an uneventful ride on the metro (unfortunately... was hoping for amos brown and peter mitchell to alight!!! *hehehehe*), the adventurous 5 arrived at sunderland and somehow roamed into the bridges, sunderland's mall...

... where the girls did a lil' shopping at republic and gap! errm, and azzy too!

eventually grew hungry and the 5 begin their search for lunch, no fastfood... only to end up in front of kfc and burger king! ;p
a toss of a penny led them into burger king where they filled their starving tummies.

after having their fill...
(especially jian who had a set meal of medium bacon double cheese AND a double cheese tex mex!!!)
... the 5 continued their adventures in sunderland walking here and walking there. found that primark in sunderland looks better than the one on northumberland street, with slightly more choices to choose from. eventually ended up on john street, where a lot of solicitors' offices are located... and at the end of the street was the county court of sunderland and nearby, a tall glass building - sunderland's winter gardens, and also mowbray park and a lil' museum.

the 5 then ventured back into the bridges, for no reason whatsoever... and eventually deciding that they had enough of sunderland for the day, put their hands and feet together making a star, and chanted "the beach the beach the beach"...
... and they teleported to the beach!!! :)

actually, the 5 hopped back onto the metro and thus begins scene 3.

scene 3 : ~ 5pm @ various locations
riding the metro, the 5 were looking really weary and so they decided to part ways. winter got off at gateshead stadium, which she nearly missed, and went home. once home, she changed into t-shirt and comfy pants, removed everything from her bag, went to the loo, washed and freshened up, returned into her room, sat down and turned on her laptop.

meanwhile, omi, jen, azzy and jian continued on to monument where omi got off and from there, went to her bus stop... onli to miss her bus by a minute and thus, had to wait for 20mins for the next one.

jen, azzy and jian got off at jesmond and walked halfway home when they decided to make full use of their daytravel metro ticket and go to tynemouth. jian then calls winter, who had just turned on her laptop, and informs her of the plan. whilst winter begins scrambling to get dressed and catch the metro to monument, he then calls omi, who had to walk back from her bus stop to metro station.

whilst waiting for winter, the 4 met at monument and saw a familiar lecturer walk past them and down to the station. meanwhile, winter ran from her house to the metro station just in time to catch a metro heading towards monument. arriving at monument, she runs up the long escalator to the top meeting the 4 who were waiting for her.

together again, the 5 then caught the metro to tynemouth.

scene 4 : ~ 6pm at tynemouth
winter notices someone looking kinda funny at her and decides to take no notice of it. until azzy mentioned that he saw familiar lecturer. the 5 then kinda 'followed' familiar lecturer until the entrance of the metro station. familiar lecturer then turned right whilst the 5 turned left.

while walking towards the town of tynemouth, the 5 discussed quite loudly on what familiar lecturer was doing alone and dressed in very casual. someone mentioned not to talk so loudly just in case familiar lecturer happens to meet them/overhear them, when... to their horror and surprise, familiar lecturer crosses the street on their right!!! the 5 then resumed their 'stalking' of familiar lecturer up until the outside of a pub. familiar lecturer walks into the alley, looks behind and enters a door. causing the 5 to ponder and to puzzle over what familiar lecturer was doing!!! and the 5 are STILL wondering today... :p

the 5 continued on their way towards tynemouth beach...
... and was greeted with strong blasts of cold, salty wind as they neared the coast. they walked towards the direction of the lighthouse...

...only to find that the path to the lighthouse was closed. but the 5 did get to enjoy the wonderfully cold seabreeze which reminded them of home, with the exception of the cold! :)

the 5 enjoyed a leisurely walk along the stretch of the coast... with sand entering shoes and jen avoiding dogs... whilst shivering from the cold!!! eventually the 5 grew hungry and thus began the search for dinner... found an indian restaurant located near cullercoats metro station, but was told that they had to wait an hour whereby they decided to return to newcastle city centre for dinner.

arriving at monument, the 5 walked down the street towards the quayside in search of indian cuisine... onli discovering that nasi briyani costs sooo much more than in khan's in london. :(
still starving and craving indian food (sick of chinese edi), the 5 then boarded the metro to jesmond...

scene 6 : jesmond
heading to the restaurant which from the outside looks like part of a train when the 5 was hit with a waft of delicious indian food causing them to grow hungrier. arriving at the restaurant, the 5 discovered that it costs even more than the restaurants in the city centre.

tired and hungry.

luckily, spices was nearby... and although looking rather high-class and posh, the prices were cheaper than all the other places they had looked at. 3 lamb curry nasi briyani and 2 chicken curry nasi briyani was soon ordered...


yummylicious... but could it be becos we were starving???

...full and tired, the 5 then ended their day at azzy, jen and jian's house onli to part the next day at about 4pm.

omg!!! a full day plus 5 hours!!! :)

must be wondering what on earth am i doing blogging at this ungodly hour of the night... well, i can't sleep and NO, i have not gone mad. was awaken from my sweet slumber by my dear housemate who set off the fire alarm about half an hour ago. i havnt a clue what he burnt... probbly toast... but deffie he burnt something. the house is reeking of something burnt. and that's coming from me, the girl who's having a 'leaking' nose and can hardly smell anything. *sigh*

so there i was, peacefully asleep, unbothered by my cold or coughs, dreaming of my prince charming... and then, "BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP!" *sigh*
what have i done this time??? or not done... :p
he seems to be waking me up from my sleep really often these days... or mebbe it's becos i've been sleeping soo much, no thanks to sudafed.

it's been about a year since i was disturbed in my sleep by the fire alarm. i remember camden court and its' ritual "at least once a week" false alarms. and i can seriously say that it often occurs somewhere around this time... it got so frequent that at one point, i can almost predict when the alarms are about to go off. well, ok fine... not predict, but i know... why? cos the culprits seem to live right above my flat... everytime, just about 5-10 minutes before the alarm rings, i would hear a stampede and doors slamming. *sigh*

i remember having to put on warm clothing and then do the walk out into the cold... and then see that there are SOME people who are fully dressed and holding a cup of coffee... WOW! fire alarms go off and these people can get fully dressed and make themselves a cup of coffee... i don't know how blind the resident co-ordinators were but seriously... don't u think these people are suspects?! yes, i agree that they could be not asleep yet when the alarm goes off... but still??? *sigh*
one thing i noted was..... during the hols, there would be NO FALSE FIRE ALARMS. no alarms ringing at ungodly hours of the night when most people have gone home and the only ones left staying there are those who can't go home cos home is just tooo far away.

*hmm* now what does that say???

there was a point when i gave up going out... i just locked myself in my room and kept as quiet as a mouse until my flatmates came back. unfortunately, that caught on too and soon, my whole flat would not go out anymore... *lol* we did get caught once... but that was when we were so stoopid not to hide. *gosh* so notti!!!

yes, there were times when the fire alarms ring for real... ie, someone forgot to turn off the stove and thus, burnt a meal; someone sprayed perfume/room fagrance/hair spray right below the sensors; someone set off fireworks in the corridor... yeaps, u read that last one right... someone really set off fireworks in the corridor!!! oOh.. that's when the fire engines really came... my goodness, at the speed they go, people don't die in the fire, they die from being hit by the engines! :p
oops, i floated off... anyways...
yes, there were times when the fire alarms ring for real but on a ratio, for real v false alarms would be like 1:100!!! geez... and u would think that these people would be more civillised. don't they have anything else better to do?!

anyways, that was the past... i'm no longer staying there so i'm no longer afflicted by that. until tonight that is... *sigh*
heyy... wait a minute, i can take yet another sudafed and then i can sleep! it has been past 4 hours since i last took one... *hmmmmmz*

so-called NON-DROWSY! after taking one tablet with one full glass of water as instructed, i started feeling sleepy... soon, my eyelids were so heavy that i had to go to sleep!

question : is there something wrong with me?!?!

there was an earthquake on a island in indonesia yesterday measuring 8.7 on the richter scale... it was weird, when i first heard of it, the u.s.a. reported it as being on the magnitude of 8.2. a few minutes later, japan reports that the earthquake was 8.5 on the richter scale... few hours later u.s.a. changes its valuation of the magnitude to 8.7.

mana was right about this year being a bad year for me... healthwise...

two nights ago, i had a bad tummyache... tried to sleep it away... ended up throwing up my lunch and my dinner! :p

then started shivering in bed... but managed to sleep, thank god!
woke up feeling all better in the morning... slightly hungry and VERY THIRSTY!
(didn't drink any water at all throughout the night...)

and then the tummy ache came back again sometime about 8pm...
actually, come to think of it, i think i was having gastric last night...
onli had dinner at midnight... :p

been a tough week. had to write 3 opinions!!! one for family law, another for opinion writing itself, and yet another for professional negligence... i hope i did the latter okays... did i, sir?

remember i was in london on 6th and 7th march? well, when i came back, my legs were hurting soooo bad... i thought, must be my heels... been walking around in them from friday til tuesday!!! so, alrights... should get better by the end of the week...

WRONG!

it got worse... from normal muscle aches radiating from thighs to calfs, to full-scale both legs CRAMPS!!! omg... every morning i wake up to cramps so bad i have to lie in bed for an hour before i can actually get outta bed and go wash up! and the pain... well, it hurts really bad in the morn, but by nighttime, the pain subsides and i'm walking around as if nothing has happened. anyways, things didn't get any better. my right lil' toe started to swell... and then followed by my left lil' toe... then my right big toe! what's going on???

so, off i went to the doctor.......

but before i did, guess what diagnosis i was getting from people?

lack of salt... "so take a cup of water and salt" "lukewarm water with salt and sugar"

rheumatism...

arthritis...

and the worse diagnosis have yet to be heard...

"OMG YOU'RE PREGNANT!!!"

and

"STD!!!"

swt. u guys who said that, u know who u are... ARE NUTS! :p

oh, and now while i sit here typing this... well, the muscle aches are kinda gone, i get cramps a lil' less often... the swelling are going down... BUT now both my knees hurt like hell... can't seem to bend them properly. :(

omg, i must be getting old..... but i am not even into my late twenties yet!!! :p

Reasoning : the motorcyclist who rode into the donkey was badly injured.

Murphy Smith was brought to court by the defendant's brother but was refused entry by a deputy.

becos no dogs were allowed in court.
Murphy Smith is the defendant's dog, a shih tzu!!!

Tori Hutchinson had driven about 10 miles when she saw a fellow motorist trying to get her attention and was pointing to the roof of her car.
she stopped but being wary of the man, kept her doors locked and motors running.
rolled down her window only to hear the man shouting "your cat! your cat!"
her orange tabby, Cuddle Bug @ C.B. was on the roof of her car!
and she didn't even noticed when she had stopped earlier for petrol for her car!!!

police broke down an apartment door in germany becos they were worried that the occupant had either been disabled or dead.
neighbours heard loud music playing non-stop and the lights of the apartment were left on for five days.

“All we found was a pet hamster. The occupant was away on holiday. A friend of his arrived and said he left the music on so the hamster wouldn’t feel lonely.” -police spokesman.

the occupant is still on holiday and has yet to be contacted.
poor lil' hamster must be feeling so lonely... *hahahaha*
