so, let's see...

... at the end of last month, had a lil' short trip to dublin, ireland with jian, ren & ele. t'was fun and everything... but there's just too many photos and i'm too lazy to blog so much about it so i shall just link to dearrie's page...

...then on the 5th of this month, had a short one day trip up to the northern-most town of england, berwick-upon-tweed. again there were photos taken and again i'm too lazy to post them up. so there. wait til i'm in the mood. :P

...on the 8th, esther came down from dublin for a short trip of newcastle and i had fun taking her around the place. can u believe that i onli met esther when i went on a holiday tour of china with my parents? and that our parents are now friends??? *lol* photos will come soon enuff... when i hav the mood.

all except stitch was last seen in a black bin bag. and they smell like me. anyone who knows of their whereabouts kindly please contact me asap. especially if u know where boyboy, stitch and paddy are. rewards are negotiable.

no laughing matter. they have all seriously gone lost. and they mean the world to me.
*prays they find their way back to me*

it's tough, extremely tough, to say goodbye to those u hold precious to ur heart. knowing full well u will never see them again. knowing that there will be others, but these others will never ever take their place.

it may be silly and childish to be crying over lost toys especially when there are others who have lost much more. but they mean more to me than just toys... especially boyboy and stitch. and i do anything just to have them back on my bed again.

comforter of my fears and keeper of my secrets

i want my boyboy back..................

another story... part 2

day 2 : saturday... the real day

t'was a wet and cold night. the weather decides to be funny and drizzles. they open an umbrella and the drizzle stops. they close the umbrella and it starts up again. after getting off the bus, they walk towards their destination.

her legs were already numbed by the cold by the time they stepped into the restaurant. a blast of warm air greeted them along with the deliriously intoxicating smell of delicious spanish food teasing their nostrils. the chitter chatter of other patrons and the clinging clanging of cutlery surrounds them. the lights were dimmed and on every table was a lit candle making the atmosphere in the restaurant a romantic one.

the spanish maitre d greets them and he requests for a table for two. after checking, they were asked if it was alright if they waited for a couple of minutes as there were no tables available yet. she was alright with waiting and they were led further into the restaurant towards the bar. standing around the bar, they decided to get a glass of sangria each.

after waiting at the bar for some time, the maitre d comes along and leads them towards their table in a cosy little corner. they sit and reads the menu. everything was reasonably priced and they choose 3 tapas and a paella. making an order with one of the waiters, they noticed that almost all the people working at the restaurant was spanish.

the food arrives and they were not disappointed. the bread was delicious when dipped into garlic mayonnaise. the same applies to the calamari rings. the sausages thingy that they ordered reminded them of the chinese pork sausage 'lap cheong' which they both disliked. but surprisingly, the sausages thingy wasn't as bad as the 'lap cheong'. 15 minutes later the paella was served and it was a HUGE portion. there was no skimping on the seafood. the prawns and mussels were aplenty and big.

by the time they were done with the food, they were close to bursting. but they were also craving dessert so they decide to take a slow stroll to their next destination before having dessert. after paying the bill, they slowly stepped out of the cosy atmosphere of the spanish restaurant expecting the air outside to be icy cold. but they were wrong. or maybe the sangria was taking effect and that was why they felt rather warm.

by the time they got to their next destination, they were both thirsty. sitting down in the restaurant, he orders a planter's punch and she a refillable diet pepsi. then they slowly read the menu to decide which dessert to order. by the time their drinks arrived, they were ready to order and they both chose to share a tropical fruit yoghurt.

it was about 11pm by the time they went home. and unbeknownst to her, he had yet another surprise up his sleeve for her. hidden deep in his wardrobe was her birthday present. she hadn't been expecting anything from him as he had already planned and threw her a surprise, and had earlier on taken her out for a wonderful dinner with yummylicious dessert.
