where do i even begin? words fail me so. it's scary turning a year and a quarter of a century old. and finding fine lines and orange peels. it just puts one off from even celebrating! what's there to celebrate really...? but then again... i guess celebrating one's birthday is appropriate. it's a celebration that one is still alive and well. that one is blessed with so many things, making a list will take forever. a celebration of life and love. :)
so celebrate it is... and i've never ever sang so much that my throat felt sore and i felt so extremely exhausted and drained.

oh btw, do be careful when going to redbox. in addition to the prices that they have listed down both on their website as well as on their brochures, the management and its staff failed to inform the customers (potential customers included) that:
a) there is a compulsory/requisite member registration whereby one is issued a lousy red plastic card and is charged RM5; AND
b) tidbits are compulsory too. a bowl costs RM8 and a bowl is for 2 pax. so if one has 6 pax, logically one would be FORCED to take 3 bowls right? WRONG. one has to take... 3 + 1 bowls. makes sense? it still doesn't.
the poor guy at the reception (and it's no wonder they're highly paid) had to deal with our complaints over these extra compulsory charges. and he dealt with it rather well. in his attempt to appease us, he agreed to charge for only 3 bowls and gave us an extra jug of beer. it pays to know one's consumer rights. :) it's a wonder that anybody has yet to lodge a report against the management of redbox.
anyways, i had so much fun. my birthday was superbly relaxing and memorable... (mostly due to the fact that i'm on leave from monday - wednesday. lol.)... and the gratitude i feel... words fail me. william shakespeare says it best...
