another story... part 1

she talks about shipping things back home sometime soon. and he asks if she wants a box, to which she positively responds. he suggests on carrying the box back to her house later... after going for a movie. she questions the logic of it as it means carrying a huge empty box all the way to town and into the cinema. and he says to drop the box off at aunties' place while they watch the movie and then after that collect it. she remembers that aunties are working at night and won't be home... he calls them anyways and arranges the whole thing.

they rush out of the house. movie starts in 20minutes and they are late. they walk extremely fast while he tells her to go on to co-op to get the popcorn and water and to meet him at the cinema while he goes to drop off the box. she says alrights and they go on their separate ways.

he calls. tells her to buy the movie ticket first becos he's on his way to the cinema but the movie was about to start in 5 minutes' time. she buys the tickets and he arrives. they enter the cinema for green street.

the movie ends and he calls aunty e to collect the box as they were heading back to her home. aunty e was at home and so they walked over. she rings aunty e's intercom and aunty e opens the downstairs door for them. they take the lift up to aunty e's flat and knocks on the door. aunty e takes quite some time to open the door and when she did, the flat was in darkness and aunty e says that she has just returned from a neighbour's place.

they enter the flat and removes their shoes. aunty e mentions that the box is in the living room and she asks to turn on the lights. she turns around to flip the light switch and then enters the living room...

"happy birthday to you..."
