true story

boy walks up to salesgirl.

"excuse me, i saw something that i like. can i have it please?"
"yea, sure... what is it?"
"i would like to have these...."

boy walks over towards the earrings.

"...red earrings. they're only £5 right?"
"yeaps."

girl removes earrings from stand & places into bag.

"that would be £5 please."

boy opens wallet and digs out a £5 note and hands it to girl.
girl gives him the earrings.

"thank you."

boy walks around stall towards his mum who was looking at some jewelry.

"mum, close your eyes. i've got something for you."
"what?"
"close your eyes mum. and put out your hand"

mum closes eyes and puts out a hand.
boy places earrings into her hand.

"okay. open your eyes."
"gasps!"
"i saw them and i think they would look lovely on you mum."
"aww...thank you!"

mum hugs and kisses son.
girl witnessed all this happening from the side.

awwww... touches the heart don't you think? and the son was a kid of about 12 years old!

feelings : missing mum.
hopes : my kids would be just like that lil' boy.

Every mother should cherish such moments. Cuz in about 5 years, they'll be nothing but distant memories. :P

and what's up with the coughing, got a furball in your throat? heheh
